Tactical Products Group Awarded Multi-Million Dollar Contract in Support of AFRICAP Program in Africa

Tactical Products Group, or TPG, announced the award of two multi-year contracts in support of AFRICAP program requirements on the continent of Africa. TPG, manufacturer of the Tacprogear brand of products, will be providing various items in support of program requirements over the next several years. This will include the countries of Uganda, Mogadishu, and Burkina Faso.

Tactical Products Group, or TPG, announced today that the company has been awarded two multi-year contracts to provide products and services for the AFRICAP program on the continent of Africa. The contracts, estimated to be worth $5 million per year, call for the provision of personal protective equipment (PPE), clothing and apparel, and other products used by military and private security professionals.

TPG burst into the tactical scene five years ago when they won their first contract to supply slings to the US Army in Mosul, Iraq. Since then, the company has supplied thousands of items to hundreds of customers around the world. Specializing in servicing global hot spots, TPG recently completed contracts in Pakistan, Uganda, Afghanistan, and Iraq.
