David Ning of MoneyNing.com has recently been added to the roster of regular contributors for the “ON RETIREMENT” section of USNews.com http://money.usnews.com/money/blogs/On-Retirement. Ning covers financial strategy and insight for retirees and those preparing for retirement.
David Ning is also an author, trusted advisor and founder of the popular finance-based blog MoneyNing.com. Ning launched the blog in 2007 with the goal of helping readers reach financial independence and security simply by changing their spending habits.
The blog focuses on frugal living and covers common money concerns such as getting out of debt and preparing for retirement. MoneyNing.com boasts a monthly readership of 120,000 and has been featured on Time.com, NYTimes.com and USNews.com.
The Pew Research Center for Social Demographic Trends Project recently released a report concerning the financial confidence of Americans. A full 54% of those polled responded that they believe we are still in the midst of a recession. 62% of those say they have reduced their spending and have adopted a frugal, simpler way of life.
Worry runs deep among retirees and those in the planning for their golden years. Nearly a third (32%) of those polled stated that they are uncertain whether their combined income and assets will be enough to finance their retirement. In February of 2009, only 25% of adults over 62 expressed this type of concern.
Ning addresses these concerns on his blog Money Ning, which informs its 112,000 monthly readers how to live more securely by living frugally. David Ning is also a regular contributor to the “ON RETIREMENT” section of USNews.com, which features information on planning for retirement, saving strategies and tips for making the most of those golden years.
