In April 2010, Banc Media was appointed by Kaplan Financial to provide both SEO and PPC services for their website. When Banc Media took on the PPC campaign, Kaplan Financial were going through some major changes, focusing their strategy more and more on online sales, and improving the visibility of their website. In order to take on this challenge, Banc performed a comprehensive audit of the current PPC campaign, highlighting areas of improvement wherever they arose.
A plan was agreed upon by Banc Media and the client, and many changes have been implemented, producing some fantastic results. Overall, the changes implemented by Banc have increased traffic to the Kaplan Financial website by over 115%. Despite this huge rise in traffic, costs have actually decreased showing the efficiency of the strategy which has been put into place.
Some of the other results produced by Banc Media’s PPC strategy include:
- A 200% increase in Keyword Volume
- A growth in the number of ad groups of over 600%
- An increase in the negative keyword list of over 110%
- A decrease in click costs of around 50%
- An increase in click through rates of 246%
In the coming months, Banc Media hopes to further improve on these results, as they constantly test and refine their strategy in order to get the best out of the campaign for the client.
