NPD and Best Buy Extend POS Data Sharing Agreement For Three Years

Leading market research company, The NPD Group and electronics retailer Best Buy Co., Inc. have extended their agreement to share point-of-sale data through February 2013.

Leading market research company, The NPD Group and electronics retailer Best Buy Co., Inc. have extended their agreement to share point-of-sale data through February 2013.

Best Buy will continue to participate on NPD’s retailer panel as they have since 1994, and provide store level POS data for all major CE and IT categories, wireless from Best Buy Mobile, plus small and major appliances from both Best Buy’s brick & mortar and ecommerce channels. Best Buy for Business will also be joining NPD’s Commercial Technology panel.
