ArcaMax Publishing, the leading family-friendly news and entertainment provider by email, has added five new comic strips to its Funnies page – including everyone's favorite techie, Dilbert.

Along with Dilbert, ArcaMax has launched Luann, Get Fuzzy, Pearls Before Swine and 9 Chickweed Lane. Each strip is available for free with an email subscription and featured in the Funnies section at

“We're always looking to add recognizable features to our site, and these were obvious choices,” said Scott Wolf, ArcaMax CEO. “Dilbert is in more than 2,000 newspapers around the world while Get Fuzzy appears in about 650.”

The five strips are syndicated and distributed by United Feature Syndicate. They join the ArcaMax Funnies lineup with 30 other favorites that include Garfield, Doonesbury, Family Circus and Wizard of Id.

Wolf expects Dilbert to become one of the most popular strips at

“It's amazing that you'll find at least one Dilbert strip in just about every office you visit,” Wolf said. “Many consider Dilbert to be the most pinned up, downloaded and e-mailed comic of all time.”

Animals are a theme of Pearls Before Swine and Get Fuzzy. Pearls Before Swine features social commentary between quite the odd couple: a know-it-all rat and a stubborn pig. Get Fuzzy covers the mischief of Bucky, the trouble making cat, the friendly dog Satchel and their human guardian Rob Wilco.

Nine Chickweed Lane is about the relationships of a young woman who lands a career as a ballet performer in New York. The strip appears in 60 newspapers worldwide and has been named Best Newspaper Comic Strip by the National Cartoonists Society.

Luann uses humor to shed light on the challenges of a girl's adolescence -- from puberty to peer pressure. Luann consistently ranks among the top five comic strips in newspaper reader surveys, according to United Feature Syndicate.

“All of these strips have proved they have what it takes to build great readership,” Wolf said. “Each is true to its audience, creative, and family-friendly.”

Along with its 35 comic strips, ArcaMax Publishing offers about 40 other free online newsletters that include home advice, recipes, parenting columnists, how-to videos from the most popular TV networks and plenty more. For the full list of free email newsletters, visit
