“We launched Nine North Consulting to address the growing needs of clients to have project-oriented resources in critical business areas within technology organizations,” said Staffing Technologies’ CEO Jim McNabb.
Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) August 4, 2010
Staffing Technologies, a leading provider of information technology and telecommunications resources for both large and small companies since 1994, today announced the launch of Nine North Consulting, a new project-oriented consulting division. Nine North will focus on key practices in support of its clients across the United States, with a strong emphasis on identity management projects in industries such as pharmaceutical, energy, healthcare, and technology. As part of the launch of Nine North, staffing veteran Vince Brannon has been named Managing Partner.
With the launch of Nine North, Staffing Technologies also announced today Nine North’s first client win, a comprehensive Identity Management initiative for a global pharmaceutical company.
Industry intelligence expert RCNOS announced last month that the $3.8 billion Identity and Access Management sector would see growth of around 13 percent per year through 2013.
“We launched Nine North Consulting to address the growing needs of clients to have project-oriented resources in critical business areas within technology organizations,” said Staffing Technologies’ CEO Jim McNabb. “Many of our clients have accelerating needs to move quickly with a project focus, and many have needs in the identity management and security realm which continues to be a persistent area of focus. In order to help with these growing needs, we’re very pleased to find someone the caliber of Vince Brannon to head up our Nine North initiative. Vince has the industry contacts, experience, and ability to lead this new company successfully, and we feel that the industries we serve are all growing even in this unsteady economic environment.”
Brannon has held multiple senior leadership positions in the staffing and consulting arenas. Prior to joining Nine North, he served as CEO of R.M. Battle LLC, an independent Information Risk Management, Compliance and Governance professional consulting firm based in Atlanta, GA. Prior to that, Brannon was President and CEO of BrightLane.com. BrightLane was a web-delivered software product designed to improve the management and administration of small businesses, and Brannon led the successful merger of BrightLane with publicly-held TeamStaff in 2001. Brannon also was a founding partner and COO of Brannon & Tully (Comforce) from 1983 - 1996 where he led the Information Technology and Services firm and was responsible for decision making for over 400 employees globally. Brannon holds an Ed.D in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M University-Commerce, Masters in Correctional Psychology from Sam Houston State University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Presbyterian College.
“I’m delighted to join Nine North Consulting,” said Vince Brannon. “I ran Brannon & Tully for 15 years before selling it to Comforce, and I’m thrilled to have this opportunity to meet the demands of clients for identity management and project needs. This is a perfect fit for me.”
