GWI Software Announces Company Name Change

After 18 years in business, help desk software provider GWI Software has changed its name to iSupport Software.

iSupport Software simply better describes what we do.

GWI Software, provider of the help desk software solution iSupport®, today announced a company name change to iSupport Software. After a year-long product rebranding campaign, this change does not signal any change in ownership, management, or operating philosophy.

New Name, Same Tradition of Excellence
"iSupport Software simply better describes what we do,” commented Daren Nelson, who founded GWI Software 18 years ago. “We acquired the domain a few years ago with the intention of renaming both the product and the company, and unfortunately it just took us a while to clear the trademarking hurdles. It is always challenging to change the name of an organization that has been around as long as we have, but I am confident that iSupport Software will pay dividends that GWI Software could not in the support marketplace."
