Act+Fast Med Announces the "Everyone Can Be a Hero" Contest

Act+Fast Med is celebrating the unveiling of their new Facebook page by inviting fans to nominate a hero, a person who has saved someone from choking, tell their story in 200 words or less, and post it on Act+Fast Med’s Facebook page: facebook.com/actfasttrainer.

On September 2nd a winner will be selected and the story they submitted will be featured on the “Hero of the Month” Facebook page. The winner, the author of the hero story, will receive an Anti Choking Training Vest as their prize.

“Our company is using this forum to help promote the need for Emergency First Aid/CPR education in U.S. schools as part of the Health curriculum. And who better to demonstrate this than people who have successfully saved a life as a result of the proper training?” explained Dr. Tim Adams, Act+Fast Med President.

The company plans to post news stories about recent events in the medical emergency care world as well as news updates on a variety of health related topics. Links to emergency medical care websites will be published on the site, as well as updated postings of conferences, expositions and symposiums in the emergency medical industry.
