Alterian (LSE: ALN), the leader in customer engagement technology and solutions, today announced that it has named Christian Wright as its Chief Solutions Officer, Managed Services, effective immediately.
In this new role, Wright will be responsible for ensuring that on-demand services such as SM2 and Alterian’s recently launched Social Media Engagement Solution are delivered and optimized for clients, while at the same time supporting the expansion of Alterian’s on-demand services to encompass Alterians full product platform.

Wright joins Alterian from Merkle, a well-respected Customer Relationship Management (CRM) agency, where in his most recent role as CTO and SVP of the Enterprise Technology Group, he helped to lead the company to be No. 1 in the Forrester Wave Ranking of Marketing Service Providers (MSPs).
In addition to Wright’s strong CRM background, he assumed technical leadership roles in which he
designed, developed and deployed Consumer Data Integration (CDI) platforms, Business Intelligence (BI) and Campaign Management solutions. Wright also founded Merkle’s Enterprise Technology Group and was instrumental in creating standardized, company-wide products for technology solutions. As Chief Solutions Officer for on-demand services, Wright will bring the expertise, knowhow and discipline necessary to enable Alterian’s customers and partners to improve performance sooner. The combination of Wright’s technical skills and CRM expertise allows him to bring an additional dynamic to Alterian’s expertise in emerging media.
