A sales and marketing company partners with Oxfam America to raise much needed funds

East Bay Concepts, a Northern California-based sales and marketing company, announced that the company recently held its 1st Annual Golf Classic to benefit Oxfam America, a four-star charity that assists the residents affected by the Gulf Coast oil spill.

Eight golfers from the East Bay Concepts team were selected to play in the 1st Annual Golf Classic held on July 25, 2010. Four teams of two were put together and they competed against each other. Since the greens fees and carts were donated by Grayson Woods Golf Course, 100 percent of the registration fees collected by each player benefited Oxfam America.

Oxfam America uses the funds to help the residents of the Gulf Coast oil spill. The donations will help them receive aid paid out by BP and the U.S. government.

East Bay Concepts makes it a priority to participate in many community projects – most of which are “show up and get to work” projects. East Bay Concepts wanted to organize an event that they planned from the ground up. This event helped them create more relationships within the community and also supported an organization that they felt was pertinent to current events.
