Xlibris, a print-on-demand self-publishing services provider, announced today the release of A Season of Glory. In this inspirational book authored by Dick Braswell, readers are taken along an unforgettable walk toward finding the Kingdom of God amid today’s modern distractions.

In the summer of 1962, the author assumed the duty as pastor of Lott Road Baptist Church in Eight Mile, Alabama. Recollecting memories from that year, he presents in this book the transcribed messages that were preached from 1970 through 1979. It was during this period that the major direction changes took place in the church. It was also the period of time when prophetic fulfillment began to manifest as they initiated an expansion of the local ministry to other nations and were guided to formulate and develop a world vision. He was there when the church made critical decisions that later created the Life Church Ministries, Inc. A Season of Glory chronicles Braswell’s long journey of reaching out and sharing the Word of God. Throughout the pages, readers will find themselves immersed in the insightful sermons about the power and love of God, ones that have been visible through the centuries.

“Therefore, my intent is and was to present them in such a way that the reader would 'feel' as if he were sitting in a pew and listening and participating as the preacher poured out his soul under the strong anointing of the Holy Spirit,” shares Braswell. “So as you turn the pages, I sincerely pray that you will be caught up in the wonderful presence of God . . . as was the congregation when these messages were brought forth.”

Offering a bucketful of thoughts and a hatful of reflections, A Season of Glory is an honest transcription of spoken messages as they were given “extemporaneously” from the pulpit of Lott Road Baptist Church and later, Life Church. It shares with readers a testimonial to the many amazing accomplishments that could be achieved in the name of God. For more information on this book, log on to Xlibris.com.
