Tempe, AZ (PRWEB) August 24, 2010
Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson and the global leader in enabling Business-Critical Continuity™, today announced the expansion of its Intel® Core™ i5/i7 Processor-based series of COM Express® modules with two processor boards that support ECC (Error Correcting Code) memory. The modular design of the COMX-CORE-512 and COMX-CORE-312 can help reduce development costs for designers in telecom, media servers, data security, finance, scientific modeling and other sectors requiring high data precision.
The COMX-CORE-512 features a 2.4 GHz Intel® Core™ i5 processor and the mobile Intel® QM57 Express chipset, while the COMX-CORE-312 offers the cost-effective Intel® Celeron® P4505 processor and Intel® HM55 Express chipset for lower-performance applications. Connectivity options include one PCI Express x16 and seven PCI Express x1 expansion sockets, one Gigabit Ethernet, four SATA and eight USB 2.0 ports. The modules also support dual simultaneous displays without the need for an additional graphics car and an optional eUSB flash module extends on-module storage.
The COMX-CORE-512 and COMX-CORE-312 are available now from Emerson Network Power distributors. To learn more about open standards-based embedded computing solutions from Emerson Network Power, visit http://www.EmersonNetworkPower.com/EmbeddedComputing.
