Clements International to Host Speaker Panel on Expat Life at The Expat Forum 2010

International insurance provider Clements International will hold a panel discussion about contemporary expat life in Washington, DC this October with representatives from the expat community.

Clements International, the leading provider of insurance solutions for expatriates and international organizations, will host a panel discussion about contemporary expat life, and the unique challenges and advantages of being an expat in 2010 and beyond. Headquartered in Washington, DC, the company welcomes local expats and international benefit providers to attend the event on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010 at the U.S. Navy Heritage Center from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

The panel will consist of representatives from the expat community with a broad spectrum of personal and professional backgrounds.

  • Alan Paul, “The Expat Life” columnist for WSJ.com and author of the forthcoming book, "Big in China"
  • Alyson Rose-Wood, Foreign Service Youth Foundation Board member
  • Maureen Johnston, resource specialist at the Overseas Briefing Center for the U.S. Department of State

“Clements truly believes in serving as a resource to our clients and we know insurance is just one of their concerns” said Michael Crossett, assistant vice president of marketing for Clements International. “The expat community is experiencing significant changes right now and we saw this as a unique opportunity to bring local expats together to discuss these issues.”

Registration is free, and open to expats and international benefits providers. Complimentary breakfast will be served. The registration deadline is Monday, Oct. 4.
