CampusBooks Reports a Dramatic Increase in the Rentals of Textbooks

The intense price competition has led to lower textbook rental prices both online and in store.

CampusBooks is the largest textbook price comparison website online, handling over $25 million of textbook sales each year. Between August 1st and August 15th, 2010 the service experienced a 300% increase in the rental of textbooks through its textbook search engine, compared to the same period last year. This marks a tremendous accomplishment for textbook rental, which was previously a fledgling industry.
