Players can engage even more of the seminal battles of World War II on a new, larger game interface specifically designed to shine on the iPad.
Plow Games released Last Front: Europe for the iPhone and iPod touch earlier this year. With three modes of game play, three difficulty settings, and various user content creation tools, players can immerse themselves into four historic battles of World War II’s European theater, including The Battle of Stalingrad and the Battle of the Bulge. Users can design their own content and game play, using the game’s online editor to create and place terrain, defensive units, obstacles, customized enemy attackers and a wide range of units including minefields, tanks, snipers, and airfields. Play any of the battles as the British, Soviets, Germans, and Americans. Last Front: Europe HD has a pronounced social aspect.
