Columbus, OH (PRWEB) August 27, 2010
Inc. Magazine ranked Bluemile NO. 599 on its fourth annual Inc. 500/5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America’s independent-minded entrepreneurs. Music website Pandora, convenience store chain 7-Eleven, Brooklyn Brewery, and Radio Flyer, maker of the iconic children’s red wagon, are among the prominent brands featured on this year’s list.
“The leaders of the companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 have figured out how to grow their businesses during the longest recession since the Great Depression,” said Inc. president Bob LaPointe. “The 2010 Inc. 5000 showcases a particularly hardy group of entrepreneurs.”
"We are excited and humbled to be named to such a prestigious list of forward thinking companies." States Jamie Busic, CEO, Bluemile Inc.
Now in it's fourth year, the Inc. 5000 is the most comprehensive portrait of fast-growing private companies assembled anywhere. Each profile is researched and reported by one of the dozens of writers assigned to the projects and includes interviews with the CEOs of almost all the companies on the list. Many firms are innovators with little coverage elsewhere; many others are using their cutting-edge savvy to grow their market share in traditional products and services, and are similarly underreported by the rest of the business media.
“In the years that we've done business with Bluemile, they've proven themselves to be reliable, flexible and solution oriented. They are an important relationship for us," comments Joe Gallo, Executive Vice President and Corporate CIO at The Dispatch Printing Company. "We are happy to see them recognized for their growth in their space and in our community.”
With a ranking of 599 out of 5000 companies that made the list, Bluemile is recognized for a growth of 505% over the last three years. Founded in 2003, Bluemile achieved great growth by using innovative technology and product branding. Revenue reached $3 million in 2006 and grew to a substantial $18 million in 2009. Since 2009, Bluemile has brought on over a dozen new employees, nearly doubling their staff. Bluemile is the 7th fastest growing company in Columbus, Ohio, and the 27th fastest growing company in the telecommunications industry.
