Objectivity, Inc. announces today that the company is continuing its strong financial performance completing seven years of profitability over the last eight years with record levels of cash and receivables. The company recently ended its fiscal year with a solid finish resulting in profits of 23% in the fourth quarter. Continued high renewals of maintenance contracts underscore Objectivity’s ongoing commitment to the highest levels of customer support. These strong financials and successful performances from FY’10 have allowed Objectivity to expand and create a new business unit, InfiniteGraph, targeted at the emerging NoSQL market for the cloud and beyond. InfiniteGraph is strategically complementary to the company’s flagship product, Objectivity/DB®.
Additionally, Objectivity has also been granted a total of three patents in the last eight months and currently holds a total of four U.S. patents. The new patents are No. 7761475 and No. 7752175 covering key elements of the core technology for Objectivity's scalable database management system. The patents are methods for managing dynamic object associations and repairing corrupted data related to a software database. These patents strengthen the company’s overall intellectual property portfolio reaffirming Objectivity’s leadership in the database management market.
