King Crane Helping Build Large Santa Clara County Data Center

King Crane is helping to build one of California’s largest data centers on 17.2 acres in Santa Clara Valley. The data center, named SC1, will ultimately comprise 360,000 square feet and have total power capacity of 26 megawatts.

San Jose, CA (Vocus) August 25, 2010

King Crane is helping to build one of California’s largest data centers on 17.2 acres in Santa Clara Valley. The data center, named SC1, will ultimately comprise 360,000 square feet and have total power capacity of 26 megawatts.

Of course, the general contractor first thought of King Crane, the South Bay’s largest crane rental company. King is responsible for transporting and setting all of the centers large transformers, chillers, breakers, switch gear and mechanical systems. The Data Center is expected to open its doors in early 2011.
