Led by its four partners, Sharon Knobbe, Rebecca Laho, Frank Gradishar and Maria Tolva Mack, the firm continues to offer its clients experienced and committed representation in the areas of family law, estate planning, residential real estate and collections. Between its partners the firm has over 46 years experience representing clients in family law and civil litigation matters. From its convenient new location cases are handled in a variety of northern Illinois counties with a concentration in DuPage, Cook, Kane, Will and Kendall counties.

Sharon Knobbe has concentrated her practice for the past 10 years in the areas of family law and collections. Sharon is the Second Vice President of the DuPage County Bar Association and she will assume the Presidency in June of 2012. Sharon chaired the Family Law committee of the DCBA from 2007- 2008. In May of 2010 Sharon became the President of the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers. Sharon is also a Past President of the DuPage Chapter of the Justinian Society of Lawyers.
Rebecca Laho concentrates her practice in the areas of family law matters, estate planning and residential real estate. In her 9 years of experience she has represented clients in DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Will and Cook Counties. Rebecca is the immediate Past President of the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers.
Frank Gradishar has 7 years of litigation experience representing clients in personal injury matters and general civil litigation. Before concentrating his practice in the family law arena he represented the City of Chicago as a municipal prosecutor. Following that Frank gained civil trial experience as an associate attorney with law firms specializing in insurance litigation. He has tried over 25 cases to verdict in Cook County. He has also practiced criminal law and was general counsel for a real estate developer.
Maria Tolva Mack with 20 years experience as an attorney, concentrates her practice in the area of family law matters and residential real estate. She also represents clients at administrative hearings to appeal findings against them by the Illinois Department of Children and Family services. She previously served as outside counsel for the DCFS. Maria’s civil litigation experience includes over 80 civil trials in DuPage, Kane, Cook and Will counties. Maria is a Past President of the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers and is currently and officer of the Justinian Society of Lawyers – DuPage Chapter. She will assume the presidency of that organization in 2013.
Both Sharon Knobbe and Maria Mack are Adjunct Faculty members at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn. They teach a variety of courses in the Paralegal Studies Program including an introductory course, family law and legal research & writing.
Sharon has been appointed on numerous occasions by the family law & probate Judges of DuPage county to act as a Guardian as Litem. Rebecca and Frank have been appointed as the Guardian ad Litem in family law cases. All four partners are trained and qualified to be appointed by the court as a Guardian ad Litem in family law matters.
