K'NEX, the construction toy company focused on Building Worlds Kids Love, is celebrating the introduction of its new officially licensed NASCAR building sets now available at Target stores nationwide with a one-of-a-kind contest. Consumers who purchase a K’NEX NASCAR building set at Target are eligible to win a VIP trip to their favorite NASCAR-sanctioned race in 2011 including four tickets, round trip transportation, two night hotel stay, and a NASCAR prize pack. In addition to the grand prize winner, 88 additional winners will receive a $24 Target gift card.
“After the success of our first NASCAR ticket contest in April, we are excited to offer fans the chance at an even bigger and better prize,” said K'NEX President Michael Araten. “This is all thanks to our partnership with NASCAR which, like this contest, continues to be exciting, unique, and one-of-a-kind.”
K'NEX Officially Licensed NASCAR building toys were introduced in 2009 with Jeff Gordon’s No. 24 Pepsi car and Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s No. 88 National Guard car. The line expanded in July 2010 with officially licensed NASCAR pit crews, garages, transporter rigs and additional drivers and cars including Juan Pablo Montoya and Tony Stewart. The building sets include enough cars, parts, and accessories to create an entire NASCAR world!
