Heraeus Global Business Unit Manager Andy London announced the recently implemented capacity expansion has already resulted in major production enhancements.
“Our expansion has already resulted in a capacity of sixty (60) tons of silver paste per month. By the end of 2010, our capacity will be at one hundred twenty (120) tons per month, increasing again to one hundred fifty (150) tons per month by mid-2011,” stated London.
London said that, "This dramatic increase in our production volume reflects the commitment of our people and the commitment of Heraeus PV to the needs of our customers during this explosive growth of the photovoltaic industry.”
