Bringing delight to every bookshelf, Little Nickel has authored a book that takes readers inside the charming world of Cleo. She treats feline lovers and children alike as Xlibris releases Cleo, The Curious Cat.
During a time when the author had just lost her family and friends, a very dear companion literally showed up in her doorstep—a cat. From that moment on, Cleopatra Sirocco—as the cat was later named—and the author were inseparable. Cleo was a very special cat who was always inquisitive and filled with glee. She showed love wherever she went. Through vibrant illustrations and amusing narration, this book relives the many adventures and misadventures of Cleo as seen through her very own cat point of view. Throughout its colorful pages, readers will accompany Cleo as she does her daily routine inside the house, goes out for her walks, travels for the holidays, and celebrates Christmas and other special occasions.
Although Cleo’s well-lived life came to an end when she was taken away by cancer in 2009, her memories remain in the hearts of the many people whose lives were touched because of her zest and passion for life. Cleo, The Curious Cat is both an entertaining and inspiring read that celebrates the life of one dear friend and brings an important message of appreciation and kindness not only to cat owners, but to everyone else.
