Mark and his team have done a fantastic job

For centre owner Mark Meadowcroft and his team, the move puts them neighbours with some of the biggest household names in the UK as Brackmills Industrial Estate is one of the most prominent locations for logistics and distribution in the country. After 12 years in Northampton town centre, the team will be sharing their address with Tesco, Debenhams, Barclaycard and Asda’s main George distribution units to name a few.

Commenting on the move, centre owner Mark said, “This move is extremely important to us. With our state-of-the-art unit we have the added investment of being able to take on larger jobs with customers are benefiting from a quicker turnaround time on projects – a further advantage over our nearest competitors.”

The move calls for double celebrations as it coincides with a contract to complete livery of 6 new vehicles for Northamptonshire County Council’s (NCC) school meals service, Nourish. The initiative to provide healthy, high quality meals to schools across Northamptonshire starts this year and will run for the next 3 years covering 226 schools.

Using artwork from the in-house designers at NCC, Signs Express (Northampton) had to work to a tight deadline in order to get all vehicles completed by the start of term. In spite of their unit move the deadline was met in plenty of time and Nourish were delighted with the end results.

“Mark and his team have done a fantastic job”, explains Sarah Hobbs, Communication Officer for NCC. “Our designs and message look clear and striking and will really help to Nourish noticed. With our eye-catching new vehicles we cannot wait to get back to school.”

Signs Express (Northampton) works with leading local and national companies including Carlsberg, Asda-Walmart, Jackson Grundy, Mahle Powertrain, The Sofa King and Northamptonshire County Council. The centre provides a complete design, manufacture and installation service for all types of signage, anything from interior and exterior signs to vehicle graphics, banners, window graphics and exhibition display systems.
