Show business is as much about the illusion of power as it is about the power of illusion.

In three short years, James Schram has taken himself from an unknown New York actor to an internationally recognized face - thanks to internet technology.
Unknown to most Hollywood insiders, Schram virtually launched his career with a lead role in the independent feature film - Insidious. He also associate produced the urban crime drama which had a limited theatrical release and can now be found on many domestic and international web-portals.
Subsequently, he continues to appear in the New York productions: Gossip Girl, Rubicon, White Collar and Boardwalk Empire; Schram has also released two original hip-hop songs - The Itch and Natural Born Leader.
This outrageous-quirky-rebel has written and will perform an original thirty minute piece, September 20, 2010 at the Producers Club Lounge, in New York City.
James Schram knows the entertainment industry has changed. He said, "I've always loved Bernie Briillstein's words that show business is as much about the illusion of power as it is about the power of illusion. In the new Hollywood, financial belts are tight and most are trying to get more for less. Digital technology has certainly lowered the cost of entry, yet hard work and dedication remain paramount, pun intended - especially with today's fragmented audiences. I have a simple rule, if you want it - you have to get off the couch and get it."
His production company S.E.P! Media, is currently packaging several original film and television projects.
