Des Moines, IA (PRWEB) September 2, 2010
Businessolver, Inc. is pleased to announce that Ryan Keehn has been named Business Information Security Officer. Keehn will be responsible for reviewing current security procedures, identifying potential threats, developing effective information security policies and procedures, and enforcing the company’s security protocols.
With Keehn’s guidance, the Businessolver information security team will review policies and procedures to ensure they are equal to, or in many instances, better than industry best practice. Data transfer and encryption standards, intrusion detection and prevention mechanisms, logical and physical access procedures, and application development procedures are among the many items being assessed to further strengthen Businessolver’s information security environment.
“Businessolver is committed to leading the industry in security and data integrity standards. Maintaining the trust and confidence of our clients is a top priority, and to do that we must ensure that the employee data we maintain is kept secure from both internal and external risks,” said Pete Mondloch, Senior Vice President of IT. “Ryan has the risk management experience we need to continue to guard against security threats.”
Throughout his career, Keehn has worked with leaders in a variety of industries including financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and retail. Most recently as Senior Associate of Internal Audit, Risk and Advisory Services at KPMG LLP, a worldwide leader in audit and advisory services, he focused on enhancing IT and business processes through the implementation and execution of audit and risk assessment procedures.
“I’m very excited to be joining an organization that has made information security a top priority,” said Keehn. “Businessolver knows the pressure clients are under from internal audit departments, information security personnel, and regulatory and compliance groups to understand how vendors are handling sensitive data. We are committed to meeting our clients’ needs and helping them achieve their audit and compliance goals now and in the future.”
Keehn will be working in the West Des Moines, Iowa headquarters of Businessolver, Inc.
