The partnership with Changents http://changents.com/ features the development work of three remarkable women spearheading development projects with the support of the Changents digital platform. This campaign is featuring Sol Garcia of Project X, focusing on raising funds to build wells throughout Africa as well as Rachel Zedeck of Backpack Farm who provides training to small-scaled farmers in Kenya on effective harvesting technologies for crops, and Monika Nowaczyk of Cambodia Knits, whose drive is to provide fair employment opportunities for marginalized communities in Cambodia through producing hand knit products and selling these products internationally. The Changents platform allows for Change Agents globally to present their development causes with the aim of procuring support from others with similar interests.
reco jeans, http://www.recojeans.com/, is promoting an eco-friendly lifestyle through their recycled denim fashion evolution and will be sponsoring each Change Agent with a pair of reco jeans. This trendsetting crew is not only pursuing environmentally friendly operations, they are also very much involved with ongoing charity events such as their involvement with the Global Genes Project, raising funds for the fight against rare diseases. Their charity fashion show and silent auction will be happening September 9 in Manhattan.
Greenlights http://www.greenlights.org/, which brings leading practices in management and governance to strengthen Central Texas nonprofits, is an innovative approach to the radio show’s new collaboration. The radio show campaign is inviting non-profits throughout the US to write into the show with the opportunity of winning a registration ticket to participate in the next Texas Nonprofit Summit happening from September 23-24. Presenters such as Dan Palotta, Vinay Bhagat and Rosetta Thurman will be speaking at their Summit.
The radio show, through these collaborative approaches, hopes to engage more listeners globally through their awareness campaign of international volunteering as well as the benefits associated with volunteering. For more information, please contact Megan Schiebe at firstname.lastname@example.org
