Leadership Capital Expands Board, Opens Latin America Office

Leadership Capital Group, a premier North America and EMEA executive search firm, announced today the expansion of its Board with the appointment of Kai-Shing Tao and Dr. Ken Siegel. Separately, the firm announced the opening of an office in Costa Rica to serve the expanding Latin American market. This is the company’s fifth office outside North America. The other offices are Paris, London, Dubai and Tunisia. Jason Hall has been named Managing Partner, Latin America.

Separately, the firm announced the opening of an office in Costa Rica to serve the expanding Latin American market. This is the company’s fifth office outside North America. Kai-Shing Tao, of Beijing, New York, Las Vegas and Los Angeles is Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Pacific Star Partners, a private investment group. Prior to founding Pacific Star Partners, Mr. Tao was a Partner at FALA Capital Group, a single family investment office, where he headed the global liquid investments outside the operating companies. Mr. Tao has served as a Member prívate as well as public Boards of Directors including HSW International, Inc. Aand Playboy Enterprises. He is also a member of the Real Estate Roundtable and US-China and US-Taiwan Business Council. Mr. Tao graduated from the New York University Stern School of Business.

Dr. Ken Siegel, Ph.D., A.B.P.P. is President of The Impact Group, a Los Angeles-based group of psychologists who consult to management. Dr. Siegel has provided management consulting services and lectures globally to a broad array of organizations including Avnet, Inc. ($15B global electronics distribution company), Barclays Global Investors, the City of Los Angeles, DHL, IBM, McKesson and Toshiba. He has been acknowledged as one of “The top 50 coaches in America” in The Art & Practice Of Leadership Coaching – 50 Top Executive Coaches Reveal Their Secrets, and is the author of So… You Call Yourself A Leader. Dr. Siegel received his B.A. degree (with honors) in Psychology and Sociology from Rutgers University and his Masters and Ph.D. degrees at the University of Southern California, specializing in social psychology. Dr. Siegel completed a Post-Doctoral Internship in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at the Wright Institute, Los Angeles and is a Board Certified Diplomat in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
