BlogHer, Inc., the leading participatory news, entertainment and information network for women online, will produce the second annual BlogHer Food Conference, featuring an exciting agenda, including chef demos, special events, and interview sessions with television personality Aida Mollenkamp and award-winning chef, Dominique Crenn.
BlogHer Food ‘10 brings together food bloggers from every walk of life, to learn, network, and collaborate with other bloggers and targeted sponsors who share a passion for good food. This year’s event, held October 8 and 9 at the InterContinental Hotel in San Francisco, sold out months in advance, with more than 300 influential food bloggers from across the country scheduled to attend.
“Social media is bringing a sea change to the food industry, as food bloggers become influential tastemakers and well-known “foodie” personalities turn to social media to get their word out,” said Elisa Camahort Page, co-founder and COO of BlogHer, Inc. “As with our industry-leading BlogHer annual conference, BlogHer Food is the place where skills are enhanced, business gets done, products get launched and connections are made. In fact, the food category is one of our fastest growing communities at BlogHer, where our network reaches over eight million visitors a month.”

Attendees will enjoy “Innovator Interviews” with Food Network and Cooking Channel Host, Aida Mollenkamp, also one of the founding editors of Chow.com, and recent Iron Chef America Winner and Michelin-starred Chef, Dominique Crenn, executive chef at the San Francisco InterContinental Hotel’s Luce Restaurant.
