Milestone reached in Nature’s Pet Market expansion efforts.

Nature’s Pet Franchising announces the opening of its 10th Nature’s Pet Market store located in Salem, OR. The store’s official grand opening celebration will be held on September 11th and 12th, and becomes the 10th Nature’s Pet Market to open and 4th to open during 2010. Other stores opened so far in 2010 include: Eugene (OR), Kirkland (WA), and Nine Mile Falls (WA). More stores are scheduled to open before the end of the year.

“We are very excited to see such tremendous growth in this economy,” says Nature’s Pet Franchising President Mike Seitz. “Celebrating Salem’s Grand Opening gets us one step closer to our mission of bringing quality natural pet food and supplies to every household in the Pacific Northwest.”

The new Salem location marks a shift in focus of Nature’s Pet Market stores to include grooming and other pet-related services within the same establishment. “In an effort to create more of a one-stop shopping and service experience, franchisees are being strongly encouraged to include add-on services,” says Seitz.

The 10th location was opened by franchisee Terri Ellen, and is located at 4555 Liberty Road S., Suite 130, Salem, OR 97302 in the Sunnyslope Shopping Center situated in the South Salem neighborhood.
