Added Capabilities Further Enhance Merge1

Globanet (http://www.globanet.com), a global leader in specialized software for data migration, announced today the latest enhancements to its message archiving solution, Merge1 v.2.6. Building upon the February 2010 release, which featured the OCS ingestion system, the newest enhancements allow for the ingestion of LiquidNet Trading Desk and Macgregor XIP communications into messaging applications such as Microsoft Exchange or directly into Symantec’s Enterprise Vault archiving system.

“Providing a user-friendly way to meet SEC compliance standards is a priority for our company,” said Sevag Ajemian, President of Globanet. “Our latest release of Merge1 is a complete software solution to meet these standards by merging all of your company's data streams into a single database of records. It’s easy to use, reliable and the new capabilities provide our clients with an end-to-end data migration solution.”

The addition of LiquidNet and XIP migrations makes Globanet’s solution one of the most comprehensive data conversion tools in the marketplace. Merge1 archives unstructured data into Enterprise Vault and other archiving platforms from the following sources: Bloomberg Mail, Bloomberg IM (Instant Bloomberg), Bloomberg Blog, Blackberry SMS, Blackberry Pin-to-Pin, Databases, FaceTime IM, MarketLook, Merrill Chat, Reuters, Skytel, UBS Chat, Microsoft OCS and now Macgregor XIP and LiquidNet Trading Desk.

LiquidNet Trading Desk, a component of the Program Trading package, is a service that allows customers to transmit orders to the LiquidNet trading desk over the phone or electronically. These orders can be exported by customers from the LiquidNet system into delimited text files, which can be difficult for businesses to ingest for compliance purposes.

Macgregor XIP is a broker-neutral order management system offered by the Investment Technology Group. Similar to LiquidNet, the transactions from this system can be exported from the vendor system, and provide the same difficulties in compliance storage.

Merge1 resolves these issues by parsing the delimited file and generating a single email for each transaction and subsequently, enabling customers to store them in Exchange or in a variety of archiving platforms.

Merge1 is a snap-in module which works in conjunction with any archiving platform. It is quick and easy to install and use, yet, it provides unparalleled performance as it unites disparate data sources into one centralized, consolidated archive allowing for streamlined search and recovery processes. Enterprises can choose to use all of the message and data types available “out-of-the-box” with Merge1 or they can select only those that their particular business needs require them to retain. Customers may even partner with Globanet to customize Merge1 to ingest other message or data types for retention.
