“In response to the reaction we have gotten to RetroDex Seattle we are expanding to RetroDex Silicon Valley, in Mountain View, CA, a place many consider to be the birthplace of the technology industry.” Said Jay C. Leon, CEO, Channel Services Group

RetroDex, producer of exclusive real live events that compliment Comdex Virtual, will be holding its second real live event on November 16, 2010. The RetroDex event announced today will be held at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA. Channel Services Group (CSG), the leading provider of outsourced sales and marketing services to technology companies with channel partner programs, is the lead sponsor of RetroDex.

RetroDex is not affiliated with the organizers of Comdex Virtual even though the memories of Comdex and its famous afterhours parties are indistinguishable for many people in the industry. “Everyone who went to Comdex remembers the parties, and we want to do what we can to bring those parties back - just as the organizers of Comdex Virtual are bringing Comdex back,” said Jay C. Leon, CEO, Channel Services Group.

The RetroDex Seattle and RetroDex Silicon Valley events will both happen on November 16, 2010 and have a capacity of just two hundred attendees each. Tickets to the events will be controlled by the yet to be announced sponsors at each location.

“In response to the reaction we have gotten to RetroDex Seattle we are expanding to RetroDex Silicon Valley, in Mountain View, CA, a place many consider to be the birthplace of the technology industries,” said Leon. “Silicon Valley is the ideal place to celebrate the return of a significant technology event like Comdex.”

People who live or work nearby the RetroDex event locations can participate without having to travel; therefore preserving the benefits of reduced travel expense and lowered carbon footprint associated with a virtual event like the new Comdex.
