Needham, MA (PRWEB) September 10, 2010
EasyLobby, the industry leader in secure visitor management solutions, has announced the availability of an integration module with Schneider Electric’s Andover Continuum and TAC I/NET access control products. Additionally, Schneider Electric has become an authorized reseller for the full line of EasyLobby visitor management products, offering these to its customers worldwide.
This “tight” product integration allows customers using Schneider Electric access control and EasyLobby’s visitor management solutions the ability to issue different levels of access to visitors, contractors and employees directly from the EasyLobby SVM (Secure Visitor Management) visitor form. When a visitor is checked in at an EasyLobby station, an access proximity card or other credential can be activated for that visitor in real-time. When the visitor checks out, the credential is automatically deactivated. Cards do not have to be pre-programmed, and they can be reused.
“This product integration benefits our customers by allowing our joint security systems to interoperate seamlessly,” said Howard Marson, CEO of EasyLobby. “More of our customers are using this type of integration to give them the option of granting visitors access to turnstiles, doors and/or elevators controlled by their access control system without exposing the access control system to their guards and receptionists working in the lobby.”
Lonnie Laue, director, Security Center of Excellence of Schneider Electric said, “Integrating best-in-class solutions into a complete IP security solution is an important benefit to security and facilities managers, providing them with better control over their building systems, improving efficiency and lowering cost. Plus, the overall security system is much easier to use. The integration of EasyLobby into our security solution helps satisfy this need.”
