ATP Produces Memory Modules Specifically Designed for Reliability in Mission Critical Embedded Applications

ATP®, a leading flash memory manufacturer known for its high quality, durable flash and DRAM memory modules announced the release of its high performance DDR3 VLP (Very Low Profile) and DDR3 ULP (Ultra Low Profile) registered memory modules.

With a height of only 0.7 inches, ATP's ULP memory modules surpass JEDEC’s most stringent height requirements of DDR3 VLP(very low profile) DIMM, which is 0.738 inches. The ATP DDR3 ULP RDIMM family is fully compliant with JEDEC’s PC3-10600 specifications and is available in 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB densities. ATP also provides a complete ULP and VLP product line of DDR3/DDR2/DDR/SDRAM modules.
In addition to VLP/ULP DRAM modules, ATP offers DRAM module solutions with conformal coating and industrial temperature features for rugged environment applications.

ATP VLP and ULP DDR3/DDR2/DDR/SDRAM modules enable powerful and compact computing power within blade servers and embedded systems. The modules are designed to overcome space constraints and improve thermal performance by maximizing airflow over and through the DIMMs, thus ideal for blade servers, networking, rack-mounted telecommunications equipment and embedded computing.

“We are committed to producing memory modules that help address the issue of confined space while providing increased air flow. It is ATP's objective to provide maximum reliability and quality in our ever expanding product line. With this specific application, it is our goal to help meet our customers needs pertaining to smaller form factor modules while ensuring unsurpassed performance in mission critical applications,” said Michael Plaksin, ATP Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

All ATP VLP and ULP DRAM modules are suitable for mission-critical applications based on AdvancedTCA (Advanced Telecom Computing Architecture), MicroTCA, and PicoTCA platforms. They are also suitable for AMC cards for blade and telecommunication applications, embedded applications based on COM (Computer on Module) Express, enterprise-level storage based on SBB (Storage Bridge Bay), and space-constraint embedded applications based on PICMG Single Board Computers (SBCs).
