We've made it unbelievably easy for Access developers to get started with Springbase
Oakland, CA (PRWEB) September 10, 2010
Springbase today announced the release of its Microsoft Access import feature, which lets developers convert Access databases to web applications with a single file upload.
"We've made it unbelievably easy for Access developers to get started with Springbase," said Dave Miller, product manager at Springbase. "This new feature saves businesses time and money they would have spent re-engineering their applications for the web."
Developers sign into Springbase and upload their Access database. Springbase automatically migrates not only tables and queries but also forms and controls, resulting in a web application with a dynamic, Ajax-powered user interface. When the conversion is finished, the new application can be opened and further developed in the Springbase visual development environment.
The new feature also allows developers to share Access databases with a wider audience, thanks to the Springbase relational database engine that supports thousands of simultaneous users.
Access import is available immediately on all Springbase accounts.
Springbase builds the world's best web-based application development platform for business. The fully integrated stack includes relational database engine, visual form designer, programmable controls, custom reports, and more. All features are available on a 30-day free trial.
