The Commercial Finance Association (http://www.cfa.com) today announced that George W. Bush, 43rd President of the United States and founder of the George W. Bush Foundation, will provide the keynote address at the CFA’s 66th Annual Convention. The Convention is titled “Leading in a New World” and will take place October 20-22 at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel.
The Commercial Finance Association holds its annual conference to bring together the nation’s most accomplished professionals involved with asset-based lending, factoring, appraisals/auctions/liquidations, law and turnaround management to collaborate on issues in commercial lending.
“As our elected officials continue to speak in vague terms about the need for increased access to business credit, our nation’s independent commercial finance companies continue to quietly and effectively provide crucial capital to scores of businesses of all sizes,” said Andrej Suskavcevic, CEO, Commercial Finance Association. “Leaders from many of our nation’s most influential commercial finance corporations will come together to discuss how to continue serving this critical role. This is the most important event of the year for anyone who is involved in the commercial finance industry. ”
Experts and leaders in economics and the financial industry from around the world will provide insights into the future of commercial lending and the changing economic and political landscape.
“The CFA Annual Convention provides opportunities for professional growth and development on many levels,” said Michael Haddad, chief executive officer, Core Financial Group. “It has always served as a forum for staying current with the latest industry developments, and it is the one yearly event where I am able to network with influential industry peers from throughout the country.”
In addition to high profile keynote speakers, the convention will feature topical panel discussions including:
- Emerging Technology in the Finance Industry
- State of the Private Equity Market
- Global Economic Outlook
- Junior Capital Financing
