Originally located on Claremont Road in San Mateo, the Ascentis payroll division (formerly EBS Online) opened its office in 1983. Ascentis secured the new site with assistance from tenant representation firm CB Richard Ellis. The company now occupies three offices, including the Rocklin, Calif., and Bellevue, Wash., locations.
