Eloqua Recognizes Penton Media Success Celebrated in Marketing Center of Excellence Category

Penton Media, Inc., a leading business to business media company, today announced its IT and Developer Group has been named a finalist in the 2010 Markie Awards in the Marketing Center of Excellence category. Sponsored by Eloqua, the leader in marketing automation solutions that dramatically accelerate revenue growth, the Markie Awards – or Markies – celebrate the most creative, highest impact marketing campaigns executed among Eloqua’s 50,000 users. Winners will be at Eloqua Experience on October 19, 2010.

Now in its fourth year, the Markies showcase creativity, innovation, metrics and results from marketers across a wide range of industries. Awards are issued in 20 categories, including social media, data quality, sales impact, marketing excellence and more. Eloqua received more than 180 compelling entries, making it the most competitive year to date.
