The Franklin Mint, the industry leader in fine collectible coins, jewelry, diecast cars, dolls and sculpture today announced the launch of their newly redesigned website at franklinmint.com. The new site features larger product imagery, easier category navigation, an expanded site search, and more streamlined checkout process. A completely new design aesthetic has been rendered to create a modern look and feel to appeal to its millions of existing customers and to attract a new generation of collectibles buyers.

Nathan Richter, Director of eCommerce for The Franklin Mint commented, “We started by listening to our customer's requests, then solicited feedback from other parts of our business, we married that information with current online innovation and best practices to produce a world class online experience.” The site also features the launch of new a designer gallery featuring the latest in high fashion jewelry and sculpture. "In companion to our new assortment of merchandise we felt it was vital to create a website as innovative as the products we offer," Richter said.

The site features a revamped product detail page that provides larger product images and the ability to embed video product presentations where available. Richter noted, “A driving force of The Franklin Mint has been the ability to tell a unique and captivating story about each product, the digital environment allows us a host of new possibilities in conveying and enhancing each product‘s story. This new site will allow us greater flexibility and impact in doing so.”

The Website also breaks out key product specification information where applicable. In all product categories The Franklin Mint puts a premium on the quality and craftsmanship of each product. A new on-site search tool allows for greater flexibility where customers are looking for thematic product, allowing them to filter through a broad search term by category or other attribute. The launch of the new website has been timed to help The Franklin Mint customer during the Holiday shopping season, with the new site allowing for easier checkout and order management as customers enter the high volume buying season.
