Courses will allow mortgage professionals to fulfill their NMLS mandated continuing education requirements online.

The Association of Mortgage Educators (, a leading provider of online mortgage education, announced this week an expansion of offerings to include Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) approved SAFE Act online continuing education (CE) courses. MLO professional continuing education requirements for the following states are due by the end of 2010: Alabama (AL), Arkansas (AR), California (CA), Connecticut (CT), District of Columbia (DC), Delaware (DE), Iowa (IA), Idaho (ID), Illinois (IL), Indiana (IN), Kentucky (KY), Louisiana (LA), Massachusetts (MA), Mississippi (MS), Montana (MT), North Carolina (NC), North Dakota (ND), Nebraska (NE), New Hampshire (NH), New York (NY), Ohio (OH), Oklahoma (OK), Pennsylvania (PA), Rhode Island (RI), South Dakota (SD), Utah (UT), Washington (WA) and West Virginia (WV).

“Our online mortgage continuing education courses will allow mortgage loan officers to complete their NMLS approved CE by the end of the year on their own timetable,” says Dave Evangelisti, Vice President of Hondros Learning. "The end goal for these mortgage professionals is staying compliant and maintaining their licenses. Our goal is to develop and provide the highest quality, most convenient CE options."
