Summa adds Senior Vice President of Strategy & Corporate Development to Team

Dan Pavlick is former VP of Information Technology with Philips Respironics

Summa, a provider of IT consulting and system integration services and solutions, has hired Dan Pavlick as Senior Vice President of Strategy & Corporate Development.

As a member of Summa's executive team, Pavlick will evaluate and develop corporate strategies and growth initiatives. He will play a crucial role in setting Summa's direction for the future, with a particular focus on developing solutions, practices and capabilities with customers and partners.

Pavlick has more than 25 years of experience in enterprise business strategy, technology and product marketing. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Information Technology Services for Philips Respironics, where he was responsible for enterprise information technology, including strategic planning and governance, business solutions, the project management office, service management program, sourcing, enterprise architecture, operations and risk management.

Prior to Philips Respironics, Pavlick held various strategy, information technology and marketing executive positions at Straightline Source (a division of United States Steel), ZEFER Corporation and PNC Financial Services Group.

Summa was also recently named a Pittsburgh 100 company as one of the fastest-growing companies in the region.

Pavlick holds Bachelor of Science degrees in industrial management and information systems from Carnegie Mellon University. He earned an MBA from Duquesne University with a concentration in finance and marketing.

In addition to his other roles, Pavlick is active in the professional community, serving on the IT Advisory Board for Duquesne University’s School of Business.
