Event Featured Forum-Style Discussions on New Pharmaceutical Regulations and Marketing Technologies

Impact Unlimited, a leading provider of brand communications for events, meetings, and exhibits worldwide, hosted a group of over 50 pharmaceutical and medical device marketers at its 7th annual Summer Symposium on August 25th at the Princeton Marriott Hotel & Conference Center at Forrestal in Princeton, N.J. Entitled Re:Think ‘10 Discussion Forum, the annual event offered a unique opportunity for leaders in pharmaceutical and medical device marketing to engage in candid conversations about the continually evolving regulatory environment and the challenges they are currently facing.

“This is a time of unprecedented change in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, particularly for those involved in marketing and branding,” said Sandie Stransky, Vice President of Sales at Impact Unlimited. “The changing regulatory environment, combined with the emergence of social media and new tools like Virtual Exhibits have dramatically changed the environment in which we and our clients operate. We are pleased to bring people together to share insights, ideas and best practices at Re:Think each year.”

Lucy Rose, ex-DDMAC director and pharmaceutical regulatory expert, headlined the discussion with her presentation “Warp Speed Ahead: Regulatory Change and Healthcare Conventions.” Rose helped the audience understand the most recent trends and developments in state and federal regulations that affect conventions, meetings, and advisory boards.

“Our Re:Think meetings provide our clients with a rare opportunity to discuss key issues with industry peers,” added Stransky. “Now in our 7th year, Re:Think continues to be a valuable, fun, and informative day for our clients.”
