Small Biz PR Pro Rolls Out Entrepreneurial Discount Program

A suburban New York-based PR consultancy is offering small and mid-sized business the chance to let prospective clients and customers know about their successes through a full-service program at a discounted rate.

In an effort to aid in the economic recovery of small businesses around the country, a suburban New York City-based public relations consultancy Monday unveiled a special program for small businesses and non-profit organizations.

The company, which specializes in helping clients in the areas of financial/professional services, technology and non-profit service, is offering small businesses in these sectors a 50 percent discount off its full-service program for the first six months.

To take advantage of this offer, all that's required is signing a standard service agreement for a six-month program and payment of the first month's fee up front. Astoria Communications President Cyrus Afzali will then work with the designated business or organization leader to determine the program's goals and will create and execute all related messaging and tactics needed for the program. As long as invoices are paid in a timely manner, clients signing up under this program will receive the discounted rate for the first six months. Also, there's no obligation to continue as a client after the promotional period has ended.

Afzali said he's offering the program to give small and mid-sized businesses, which are traditionally the growth engine of the U.S. economy, the chance to spread the word about their business and increase the chance of sustained, long-term growth.

“I built my practice on serving small and mid-sized businesses that are priced out of the New York agency market. Many of these businesses have a great story to tell, yet they feel PR is out of their reach financially. This offer will give these organizations and their sales staffs a great opportunity to let prospective customers and clients know about the great work they're doing and spread the word about their value proposition,” he said.
