“Summer is barely over, the kids barely back in school, but the damp squib that was August in the UK could be responsible for the increase in early demand for October half term,” comments Kate Stinchcombe-Gillies, spokesperson for

“October is a great time of year for guaranteed sunshine in the Canaries, but also it remains t-shirt and bikini weather in places like Cyprus, Rome and Nice. City breaks are very popular at this time of year, but interesting to see so many enquiries for week long stays as these destinations are usually chosen for three or four night breaks,” adds Stinchcombe-Gillies.
