The recent coat drive held by Affinity4 (Norfolk, VA, http://www.affinity4.com), one of the nation's leading affinity-based marketers specializing in helping charities, ministries and other nonprofit organizations raise funds, was a success on many levels. This employee volunteer project held on behalf of the Our House Families (http://www.ourhousefamilies.org) homeless shelter, produced 95 coats, 13 hats, 7 scarves and 10 pair of gloves for families in the shelter. In addition, Our House Families also received a $300 donation. Equally important, the coat drive demonstrated to the nonprofit organization - Chesapeake, Virginia's only homeless shelter - that there are people with warm, generous hearts who care about them.
