Norfolk, VA (PRWEB) September 15, 2010
The recent coat drive held by Affinity4 (http://www.affinity4.com), one of the nation's leading affinity-based marketers specializing in helping charities, ministries and other nonprofit organizations raise funds, was a success on many levels. This employee volunteer project held on behalf of the Our House Families homeless shelter, produced 95 coats, 13 hats, 7 scarves and 10 pair of gloves for families in the shelter. In addition, Our House Families also received a $300 donation. Equally important, the coat drive demonstrated to the nonprofit organization - Chesapeake, Virginia's only homeless shelter - that there are people with warm, generous hearts who care about them.
Pictured here is Katie King of the Affinity4 staff along with Our House Families Executive Director Alecia Gregg accepting their donation and check at Affinity4 headquarters on September 9th to mark the end of the coat drive.
