"Ran's coast to coast journey is a metaphor for the self-transformational journey we should all strive for during the course of our lives," said Deepak Chopra.

Take a month-long cross-country trip, a motorcycle, a 40-year old man searching for inner peace, then add in one-on-one visits with spiritual leaders and psychology experts such as Deepak Chopra and Phil Zimbardo. That's Ride Of Your Life (http://www.rideofyourlife.com), which kicks off September 19 in New York City and follows CEO and father of three, Ran Zilca, as he rides across the back roads of the county. Along the way, Ran will chat with people he meets, as well as interview world-renowned experts. Between these words of wisdom and the meditative experience of life on the road, he hopes to discover the keys to fulfillment, inner peace, and happiness.

The Ride Of Your Life blog (http://www.rideofyourlife.com) documents the journey in real-time, including videos of scenic rides captured with Ran's helmet-mounted camera, and video interviews with fellow bikers, local people and experts. Additionally, the journey, interviews, and insights of Ride Of Your Life will be published in a book by the same name late 2010.

During his journey, Ran will be meeting with a diverse group of prominent thought leaders and scholars for one-on-one conversations. For example, in Southern California, Ran will contemplate concepts of Collective Consciousness with Dr. Deepak Chopra. He will ask Lew Goldberg (the developer of modern personality psychology) what makes people in Eugene, Oregon so happy. In Montreal, Ran will chat with Daniel Levitin (author of two best-selling books and former producer for Blue Öyster Cult, Chris Isaak, and Joe Satriani) about music and its contribution to one’s inner peace and completeness.

Other participating experts include Professor Philip Zimbardo (who conducted the Stanford prison experiment), leading positive psychologist Professor Sonja Lyubomirsky, Professor James W. Pennebaker, and Professor and Psychiatrist-in-Chief of Montefiore Medical Center Byram Karasu. Complete bios for each expert can be found on the Ride Of Your Life blog.

"Ran's coast to coast journey is a metaphor for the self-transformational journey we should all strive for during the course of our lives," said Deepak Chopra.

Dr. Sonja Lyubomirsky, Professor of Psychology at the University of California, Riverside and author of The How of Happiness, added, "Ride Of Your Life is an inspiring reminder of the actions people can take to change their mindset and as a result, change their lives. I'm looking forward to sharing some of my research with Ran in a thought-provoking discussion on what makes people happy and how we can increase our happiness levels."

Alongside videos and latest updates from the ride, the Ride Of Your Life blog also features five principles — Five Steps for Finding Inner Peace — that people can implement ever day, whether or not they're on a cross-country road trip. The five steps are: Build inner strength, Be present, Dump your ego, Take responsibility, and Let love rule.

"Midlife can be an empowering and transformative period in one’s life. As I was approaching the age of 40, I followed the five principles to harness my midlife perspective into personal transformation. Through this journey and the collective wisdom of people I will meet on the road (both noted experts and new friends), I seek to gain new insights on the mechanisms that make us all tick and the different paths people take to flourish and reach enlightenment. Equipped with a laptop and video camera, I can share my experience and engage others in this exciting conversation and journey in real time." said Zilca.

Ride Of Your Life is sponsored by Signal Patterns, the developers of psychology-based web and mobile applications that help individuals improve their well-being and relationships with others, along with Deepak Chopra Mobile, featuring mobile apps by Dr. Deepak Chopra, that range from Stress Management, through Yoga, to guided meditations.

People can follow Ran's journey and check out the latest video interviews on http://www.rideofyourlife.com . The Ride Of Your Life soundtrack (as written, performed, and recorded by Ran) is available on iTunes and Amazon.
