After the success of the 600W eddy vertical axis wind turbine, Urban Green Energy unveils a more-powerful 1kW version, the eddy GT.

Following in the stylish, silent footsteps of the successful launch of eddy, Urban Green Energy , the leading manufacturer of vertical axis wind turbines (VAWT) announced today the latest product in the catalog of alternative energy solutions - eddy GT.

A 1kW VAWT, eddy GT delivers energy security through a grid-tie inverter, but maintains the same key features as the original eddy, including a low start-up speed, whisper-quiet operation and a vertical axis design that means power can be generated regardless of the wind direction. Like eddy, eddy GT can be assembled in under an hour and be mounted on either a pole or a rooftop for safe, reliable energy.
