Mission Essential Personnel today announced it is sponsoring a fundraiser for Veterans First Foundation, a nonprofit organization that helps Columbus-area veterans with needs ranging from free clothing to prosthetics, and from rides to the veterans hospital to temporary housing.

Mission Essential Personnel today announced it is sponsoring a fundraiser for Veterans First Foundation, a nonprofit organization that helps Columbus-area veterans with needs ranging from free clothing to prosthetics, and from rides to the veterans hospital to temporary housing.

The event, to be held at The Social and The Park Street Patio in Columbus, will feature a live band, a DJ, raffles and food and drink specials for a $10 admission. All proceeds will go to Veterans First Foundation.    

"As Americans, we owe a great debt to those who have borne the burden of war for society," said CEO Chris Taylor, himself a 14-year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. "MEP employees work side by side with members of the military, both at home and on the battlefield, to help protect the United States of America."

"It's our privilege to give back to our nation's veterans," Taylor added. "We invite all of Columbus, Ohio State University, and the Ohio National Guard to show up in numbers to support our veterans."

Cost: $10 at the door
