New features in this current BUMI solution include backup support for Microsoft Exchange 2010 using VSS (Volume Shadow Copy Service) Writers integration; backup and restore support for Microsoft SQL Server 2008 SP1; backup and restore support for Microsoft SharePoint 2007 SP2; and backup and restore support for Lotus Domino/Notes.
In addition, BUMI has expanded its ability to backup VMware environments at the virtual machine level, allowing for quick recovery of an entire virtual machine. In combination with traditional file-level backups, BUMI clients can be ensured their virtual environments are fully protected.
BUMI also supports backups for desktop and laptops located in remote office locations. This is ideal for sales and field service personnel, as well as branch offices that need to backup their business-critical data. These machines can be centrally managed by the corporate IT department and the backups monitored by BUMI's senior support team.
Fully supporting Windows, Mac, and Linux environments, BUMI is uniquely positioned to manage complex data backup and restore activities.
