eEminder mobile banking product provides direct connection to financial institution’s core, eschewing earlier generation screen scraping technology

My customers are looking for mobile applications that are simple to use and produce fast responses without compromising on security

Mobile banking applications for Windows Mobile, Android, and iPhone which connect directly to the Open Solutions and Summit cores are now available.

eEminder, a leading provider of Real Time Interactive Alert, Electronic Notice, and SMS Text Message Banking products, today announced the release of its eEminder Mobile Apps(tm) product.

eEminder Mobile Apps connect directly to the bank or credit union’s core and are not just a screen scraping application. This offers several benefits. It provides true multi-factor authentication, makes the apps much faster, greatly reduces battery consumption on the phone, and allows for direct communication of data such as for mobile deposit capture directly from a smart phone using its camera. eEminder’s patented FFIEC compliant multi-factor authentication for mobile banking is also used with the apps.

In the case of its connector with the Open Solutions platform, eEminder Mobile Apps uses the Open Solutions Channel Management Center (CMC).

“My customers are looking for mobile applications that are simple to use and produce fast responses without compromising on security,” said Griff L. Griffith, President of Solution Oriented Systems, eEminder’s implementation partner. “eEminder’s Mobile Apps product, using eEminder’s patented Multifactor Authentication technology, surpasses its competitors in speed and security for today’s and future mobile banking requirements.”

“With the proliferation of Android and Windows Mobile smart phones among credit union and banking members/customers, having mobile applications available for each phone platform is key to a bank or credit union’s ability to attract and retain tech savvy and usually highly valuable customers/members,” said Tom Utsch, CEO of eEminder. “When taken to together with our Real Time eAlert and eNotice products, which also connect and interact directly with the core, a financial institution can offer a complete ebanking system that completely pays for itself in savings of paper notices no longer being printed and mailed.”
