The old mantra that "the client is always right," doesn't always work, especially for solo entrepreneurs like resume writers and career coaches. On September 25 at the 2010 National Resume Writers' Association annual conference, Kimberly Schneiderman will be presenting to a group of industry peers to help them navigate the sometimes difficult terrain of working with job seekers in today's tough economy.

Kimberly Schneiderman, owner of City Career Services, will be presenting “Handling Tough Situations with Tough Clients” at the National Résumé Writers’ Association (NRWA) 13th Annual Conference being held September 22 – 25 at the Sheraton Fort Worth Hotel and Spa. Schneiderman’s session will provide guidance to fellow industry leaders on serving clients’ needs and resolving conflicts to drive ROI.

According to Schneiderman, “Resume writers are often “solo-preneurs.” They need resources to help them handle challenging situations like unsatisfied customers, clients that need help with dress / hygiene, working with new graduates and their “helicopter” parents, and clearly communicating expectations with all of their clients.”

Schneiderman also contributes to the NRWA through one-on-one mentoring of new writers to the industry, and has presented at past conferences and through tele-seminars.
